These steel gauzes have a diameter of 20 mm and are supplied in a display with 100 packaging, each with 5 gauze. Made from durable steel, they are ideal for use with dried flower tops.

What is a gauze?

A gauze, also known as a screen, is a crucial part of pipes, bongs and water pipes. It helps to filter your smoke experience.

Why use a gauze?

A gauze ensures that smoking where does not end up in your pipe, while it still lets air through. Over time, the gauze gets clogged, making it harder to inhale and replacement is needed.

What types of gauze are there?

Gazes come in different materials such as steel, copper and glass. At Dutch Leaf we offer gauzejes in sizes of 12, 15, 18, 20 and 25 mm. Fine gauzes are ideal for dried flower tops, while coarser are better for dry hash. You can choose between standard gauze or lift-off "Spoon screens," that are easier to clean.

How do you choose the right gauze?

If your old gauze is still available, use this as a reference to find the right one. Look at material and diameter. Without an example you measure the bowl of your pipe. A shear size is useful for accurate measurement. Need help? Feel free to contact us!
